Bangladesh Gets itel’s Affordable Dual-Display Handset as A300+ Hits Shelves
The budget smartphone features a 2.01-inch secondary screen, MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate chipset and IP65-rated protection.

itel has introduced the A300+ in Bangladesh, adding a budget-friendly smartphone that uses a small secondary screen on the rear to complement its main display. The model is aimed at users who want practical everyday features and longer battery life without moving into higher price brackets.
The phone's most noticeable addition is the 2.01-inch interactive panel placed on the back. It lets owners preview selfies taken with the rear camera, check incoming notifications, and control music playback while the larger screen stays off. This setup reduces the need to constantly wake the main display for quick tasks. The primary screen measures 6.78 inches, uses a punch-hole camera cutout, and runs at a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations during daily use.
Under the hood, the A300+ is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate processor, a chipset chosen for reliable performance on everyday applications, light multitasking, and social media.
Storage and memory options currently available include a 6GB RAM configuration paired with 128GB of internal storage. A second variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is expected to arrive later, with its price to be announced closer to launch.
Battery capacity stands at 7,000mAh. The company states the cell is engineered to retain a high percentage of its original capacity even after more than a thousand full charge cycles, supporting extended standby and talk times. Fast charging is included so the phone can regain usable power relatively quickly when plugged in. Durability features include an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water splashes, along with reinforced construction intended to handle drops and daily wear.
The device also carries high-volume speakers and noise-control technology to improve call clarity in noisy environments. One additional capability allows limited communication over short distances even in areas with weak or no conventional mobile coverage.
Pricing for the currently available configuration starts at approximately Tk 18,990 plus applicable taxes. The phone is being distributed through itel's authorised retail network across Bangladesh. Colour options and exact promotional offers may vary by location and timing.
The arrival of the A300+ continues a broader trend in the local market where manufacturers are adding distinctive hardware features to mid-range and entry-level phones rather than competing solely on processor speed or camera megapixels. Dual-screen designs remain uncommon at this price point, giving the model a clear point of difference for buyers who frequently check messages or want a quick way to frame photos without flipping the phone. Large battery capacities have also become a priority for many consumers who rely on their devices throughout long workdays or travel.
Whether the rear display proves useful enough to influence purchase decisions will depend on real-world feedback once the phone is in wider circulation. For now, the A300+ expands the range of accessible dual-display options available in Bangladesh and gives itel a fresh offering in a competitive budget segment.
