An 8,000mAh Battery is The Real Selling Point of realme’s New C100
The phone offers up to 8GB RAM, 45W charging and a limited-time prize draw, while realme's durability and battery claims await independent testing.

realme has put the C100 on sale in Bangladesh, and the price card is simple. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version is listed at Tk 27,999. The 8GB and 128GB version is Tk 29,999. Buyers can choose Glory White, Victory Purple or Endurance Brown. The phone went on sale from 8 October through official stores, authorised shops and online outlets, with a short promotional window running through 10 October.
The number realme is leaning on is the battery. The C100 carries an 8,000mAh Titan pack, charges at 45W, and can push 10W back out as reverse charging, enough to top up earbuds or a friend's phone in a pinch. The company is also attaching a seven-year battery-health pledge and says on-device optimisation is meant to stretch daily use. Those are marketing claims, and they should be read that way. In realme's own lab figures, one full charge is said to cover about 1.7 days of mixed use, more than 11 hours of online play in Free Fire or Mobile Legends, more than 24 hours of streaming, more than 20 hours of navigation, and more than 40 hours of what it calls heavy use. Independent testing in Dhaka heat, on local networks, will be the check that matters.
The body is built around the same pitch: a phone that can take a knock. realme says the ArmorShell frame is rated for military-style shock, a drop from 2 metres, and water resistance to 6 metres under what it calls IP69 Pro. That is unusual language for this price band. Standard IP ratings and a brand's own "Pro" label are not the same thing, so a buyer who cares about rain or a sink splash should treat the claim as durability marketing until a teardown or a standards sheet says otherwise.
The screen is a 6.8-inch HD+ panel, not full HD, with a 90.4 percent screen-to-body ratio and a refresh rate that can go to 120Hz. HD+ at that size will look softer than a 1080p panel beside it on a shop counter, which is the trade-off for the battery and the price. realme has not named the 8-core chipset in its launch note. Cameras are a 50-megapixel rear sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera, and both can shoot dual video.
The launch offer is a draw, not a straight discount. Anyone who buys between 8 and 10 October is entered for rewards the company values at up to Tk 50 lakh in total. Individual prizes include Tk 1 lakh, Tk 50,000, a buy-one-get-one deal, or a guaranteed extra six months of warranty. The warranty extension is the only item that lands for every buyer; the cash prizes are a lottery.
Set against the rest of this week's handset news, the C100 sits just under the vivo Y32, which opened from Tk 30,999, in a segment where large batteries are doing more sales work than camera counts. For a buyer, the decision is narrow: Tk 2,000 more buys the extra 2GB of RAM, the panel is HD+ rather than sharper, and the chipset name is still missing from the official sheet. The battery, the three-day prize window, and whether IP69 Pro holds up outside a press note are the parts worth checking before paying.
