A total of 15 companies submitted proposals to the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel), including three large companies that already operate telephony and internet services in the country: Tim (Brazilian subsidiary of Telecom (Italia), Vivo (Brazil) and Claro (Mexico). The vivo Y32 has officially moved beyond its short pre-order phase and is now available for purchase across Bangladesh. After customers had the chance to book the device between 7 and 11 October, the handset is stocked at authorised vivo outlets and partner shops, giving buyers the option to walk in and collect it immediately.

vivo is pitching the Y32 primarily as a phone built for people who prioritise long battery life over premium performance. The device carries an 8,000mAh battery that the company markets under its BlueVolt branding. According to vivo, the battery is designed to maintain stable output even when ambient temperatures rise, which is relevant for daily use in Bangladesh's climate. The phone supports 44W wired charging, and the brand has highlighted its multi-year battery-health technology that aims to reduce capacity degradation over time. These features form the core of the product's appeal in a market where many users still value multi-day usage or at least full-day reliability without frequent top-ups.

On the durability side, the Y32 comes with high dust- and water-resistance ratings (IP68 and IP69) along with an Anti-Drop Armor design. The intention is to offer better protection against everyday accidents such as accidental drops or exposure to rain and dust. The phone is available in two colour options: Twilight Red and Sunset Orange, both featuring a metallic camera module and a rear notification light.

Pricing has been set at Tk 30,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and Tk 34,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB version. For a limited period, vivo is offering a hire-purchase facility that requires a minimum 20 percent down payment and allows buyers to spread the remaining amount over up to nine months, subject to the usual terms and eligibility checks. Early purchasers also receive a complimentary Silver Membership. Additionally, a lucky draw is running that gives eligible customers a chance to win items such as a tablet, smartwatch, power bank, or an extended four-year battery warranty.

Detailed technical specifications have been released somewhat inconsistently across official communications. Available information points to an Unisoc T7300 chipset, a roughly 6.87-inch display, a dual-camera setup led by a 50-megapixel main sensor, and Android 16 running vivo's OriginOS interface. The phone is positioned firmly in the practical mid-range category rather than as a performance-focused device.

In Bangladesh's smartphone market, models that combine large batteries with accessible financing options often attract steady interest, especially among users who treat their phone as a daily tool for communication, navigation, and media consumption. The Y32 enters this space at a time when several brands are also emphasising endurance and durability in the sub-Tk 40,000 bracket. Whether the combination of battery capacity, water resistance, and payment flexibility is enough to stand out will depend on real-world performance, after-sales support, and how competitive the final street prices remain once initial promotions end.

For now, the device is ready for immediate purchase at authorised channels. Prospective buyers are advised to confirm exact variant availability, current promotional terms, and any additional service packages directly with retailers before finalising a purchase, as limited-time offers can change quickly.
