Daraz Bangladesh opens its 10.10 Shopping Fest at 8 pm on Friday, 9 October, and keeps the campaign running through 19 October. The headline figure is a discount of up to 80 percent on selected goods, but the sale is not one continuous price cut. It is a series of timed windows, brand days and payment add-ons, so the useful number for a buyer is the hour, not the poster.

The first live stretch runs from 8 pm tonight until 2 am on Saturday. Further sessions are set through 10 October, then again from 7 pm to 11:59 pm on both 16 and 19 October. An hour before the sale itself, from 7 pm to 8 pm, Daraz is holding a "Spin the Wheel" session on Facebook Live, with prizes for people who join. That opening hour is marketing; the checkout window starts when the wheel stops.

Inside the campaign, Daraz is grouping offers as Mega Deals, flash sales of up to 80 percent, and Hot Deals of up to 75 percent. The shelves cover electronics, fashion, home appliances, health and beauty, everyday consumer goods and lifestyle items. Site-wide delivery discounts are part of the package, and free delivery applies on selected items for customers in all 64 districts. On the Daraz Choice channel, the "Everyday Low Price" line is being pushed with a simple bundle rule: free delivery on three items, or a gift plus free delivery on five.

Two mechanics sit beside the sticker price. Prepayment vouchers can take up to 12 percent off and are meant to pull orders forward so fulfilment is less lumpy. Brand Rush Hour sessions put exclusive cuts on named labels for short periods. The brand calendar after opening night is Vision on 11 October, Lotto on 12 October, Nestlé on 13 October, Dettol on 14 October, Dabur on 16 October and Himalaya on 17 October. Himalaya, Dettol and Unilever are listed as exclusive platinum partners, Godrej and Parachute Naturale as gold sponsors, and Neocare as a silver sponsor.

Payment partners add a second layer, and the caps matter more than the percentage. bKash users can get 12 percent off, up to Tk 200, on marketplace orders of at least Tk 599. Nagad users can get 12 percent cashback on the same floor and the same ceiling. Credit and prepaid cards from Community Bank, United Commercial Bank and Southeast Bank can take 12 percent off, up to Tk 1,500. NRB Bank credit cards can return 10 percent cashback on eligible instalment purchases, capped at Tk 500 a transaction. A shopper who ignores the minimum order or the cap will not see the number advertised on the banner.
Daraz is also warning buyers about fraud that uses its name. It says fake "Mystery Box" promotions and false job or earning offers have been moving through unofficial Facebook pages and groups, WhatsApp and Telegram. The company says it does not run Mystery Box promotions and does not contact people on WhatsApp, personal messages or Telegram to offer work. It is telling customers not to hand over personal or financial details to anyone claiming to be Daraz outside official channels, and to treat only its own site, app and verified pages as the source of offers.

For anyone planning a purchase, the practical reading is straightforward. The deepest cuts are tied to flash sessions and brand days, delivery perks depend on the item and the bundle, and wallet or card discounts stop at a fixed taka limit. Checking the campaign page or the app before those windows open is safer than assuming the 80 percent applies to the cart in front of you.
